Gedser harbor & ferry terminal

The ferry port of Gedser is located at the southern tip of the Danish island of Falster and is the southernmost point in Denmark. The port is located directly on the Baltic Sea and has excellent connections to the Danish highway network via the European route E55. From here, Scandlines operates the ferry connection to Rostock in Germany with up to 10 departures daily.

Getting to Gedser

The Gedser ferry port in Denmark is easy to reach both by car and by public transport.

Arrival by car

From Copenhagen, take the E20 and then change to the E47/E55 in the direction of Rødby/Gedser. At exit 44-Eskilstrup, change to the E55 and follow it to Gedser.

Public transportation

If you don't have a car, you can take the bus to the ferry port. Buses run regularly from Nykøbing Falster station directly to the ferry port. Bus route 740 connects Nykøbing Falster with Gedser. The bus stop "Gedser Færgehavn" is right next to the terminal.
