Getting to the Rostock ferry port
Getting to the ferry port of Rostock is easy and convenient thanks to the excellent transport connections, both by car and by public transport. Below you will find detailed information on the various travel options:
Arrival by car
The ferry port of Rostock is optimally integrated into the German highway network. Drivers can reach the port via the A19 and A20 highways, which lead directly to the port. The "Rostock-Überseehafen" exit leads travelers directly to the ferry terminal. A specially constructed elevated road connects the port directly to the highways, guaranteeing smooth access. Sufficient parking spaces are available at the terminal, including both short-term and long-term parking options. For travelers with reduced mobility, there are barrier-free parking spaces close to the terminal.
Arriving by public transport
Travelers without a car can also easily reach the ferry terminal. There are several connections from Rostock main station:
- Streetcar and bus: Tram line 4 runs from the main station to the "Dierkower Kreuz" stop. From there, bus line 19 takes passengers directly to the ferry terminal.
- Direct bus line: Alternatively, bus line 45 runs from the main railway station through the Warnow Tunnel and stops directly at the Rostock Ferry Center.
- Regional transport: From the main station, travelers can also take the S-Bahn to the "Lütten Klein" stop. Here there is a connection to bus line 49, which also runs to the terminal via the Rostock city area.
